We made our way down to @ClassicFootballShirts warehouse to meet with Co-Founder Doug Bierton, as it’s Easter we wanted to showcase the MOST iconic kits that they own by running an Easter egg hunt in the BIGGEST football shirts collection in the world! with over 500,000 kits in 1 warehouse… This is definitely a task that only someone like Doug can complete.

In this conversation we spoke with Gregory Lee, the social media manager of the company who shows us their headquarters and gives his opinion on the future of t-shirt collecting.
Classic Football Shirts was founded in 2006 by Douglas Bierton and Matthew Dale, when both of them were studying for a degree in business administration at the University of Manchester.
From the first days when they were buying shirts one by one and save them home, to the present where they have their huge headquarters in Manchester as well as the largest collection of original football shirts in the world.
Of course, the story of Classic Football Shirts is incredible.

Football kit culture has become big business over the past few years. It’s estimated that the top ten clubs sold over 20 million shirts in 2021 between them. These days wearing a football shirt is not just about representing your club, it’s about style.
But where do football kits originate? Was there a time before kits? How have they changed?
